  • Always shake before use. Hold can upright while spraying.
  • Ventilate treated areas after application by opening windows and doors or using fans, where required, to aid in the circulation of air.
  • For all labelled uses, treatment must only be repeated after 7 days if the pest problem persists or reoccurs.

HOW TO APPLY:

APPLY AS A SPACE SPRAY ONLY.

Space application is a suspension of fine droplets in the air within an indoor space. 

SPACE APPLICATION: To kill mosquitoes, flies, and wasps: Close all windows and doors and shut off all ventilating systems and sources of ignition before treatment. Shake before using. While holding can at arm’s length, spray (Raid® Home Insect Killer 2) (product) upward (in a sweeping motion) to all parts of the room, especially the ceiling, upper corners of the room, windows and other light sources.  Keep spray at least 1m from interior walls, fabrics and furniture.  Begin application at the far side of the room and work backwards toward the exit. DO NOT exceed the max spray rate of 10-11 seconds per average room (30m3). Vacate the treated area and keep windows and doors closed for 15 minutes, then ventilate for 15 minutes before re-entry.

Wasps:

Avoid leaving food or drink uncovered when eating outside. Keep all garbage covered in tightly closed containers until it can be thrown out. Spraying nests after nightfall is recommended because wasps are less active at night. 


Mosquitoes:

Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water. Remove any possible breeding sites where mosquitoes could lay eggs, even in very small quantities.


Flies:

Ensure that all screens fit properly and that there are no cracks or holes which would allow flies to enter into the house. Remove dead or decomposing organic matter that serves as fly breeding sites.

READ THE LABEL BEFORE USING. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT inhale this product. KEEP FROM FREEZING. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. DO NOT apply to overhead areas or in confined spaces (for example, attics, crawlspaces). DO NOT puncture or incinerate the container . DO NOT place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat. DO NOT apply when people or pets are present. DO NOT allow people or pets to enter treated areas until sprays have dried. DO NOT allow spray to drip or allow drift onto non-target surfaces. DO NOT apply to surfaces that may come into contact with food/feed.

STORAGE: Store this product away from food or feed. DO NOT store at temperatures over 50°C.

DISPOSAL: Unused or partially used products should be disposed of at provincially or municipally designated hazardous waste disposal sites.  When container is empty, press valve to release all remaining pressure. Empty containers may be recycled in communities where (steel) aerosol can recycling is available.  If recycling is not available, wrap and discard the empty container in household garbage. DO NOT reuse the empty containers.
